#9 “Portrait” by Olivia Paxton

While curating this playlist, I sought self-expression through my selection. I wonder what changes when we think of our identity in terms of curation rather than definition. This playlist is dedicated to that space, that exists between curation and definition, in which we live our lives. Identity is fluid, it is a portrait we paint: drawing, erasing and finalizing ourselves. I took this portrait of somebody I admire for how perfectly suspended her sense of self is, in that space between.
