#16 “For Musing“ by Rebecca Liptay

I am a big proponent of walking around a gallery or museum alone, with my headphones in. When, at long last, I can go to a gallery or museum again (I currently live in Ontario, where such aspirations are still a Phase-of-Reopening away), I’ll be listening to this playlist.

This playlist has a real jumble of genres going on- from alternative electronic to film scores and soundtracks - but all of these songs take me to a contemplative space that for me, complements the place I go when looking at art. Maybe you prefer silence while you wander a gallery or perhaps furtively eavesdropping on the people beside you trying to impress one another with their visual analysis. In that case, listen to the playlist wherever or however you choose. I hope it takes you to an easy place.

Rebecca likes to draw, dance and read. She is a Canadian by birth, cosmopolitan by nature.
